Library Code Of Conduct

Education goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. We believe in empowering students to explore their passions and challenge conventions.

General Conduct
  • Maintain silence and discipline inside the library.
  • Mobile phones must be kept on silent mode; phone calls are strictly prohibited.
  • Respect library staff and follow their instructions.
Use of Library Resources
  • Handle books, journals, and other materials with care.
  • Writing, underlining, tearing pages, or damaging library property is strictly prohibited.
  • Do not reshelve books; return them to the designated counter or trolley after use.
Behaviour and Discipline
  • Eating, drinking, smoking, or chewing tobacco inside the library is strictly prohibited.
  • Group discussions are not permitted inside the reading areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and do not litter.
Personal Belongings
  • Bags, personal books, and other belongings should be kept in the designated area, if provided.
  • The library is not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
Use of Digital Facilities
  • Computers and digital resources should be used strictly for academic purposes.
  • Misuse of the internet or unauthorized access is prohibited.
Penalties for Violation
  • Violation of library rules may lead to suspension of library privileges.
  • Serious misconduct will be reported to college authorities for disciplinary action.
