The Training & Placement Cell of Dr S. C. Gulhane Prerna College of Commerce, Science and Arts is dedicated to bridging the gap between academics and industry. The Cell regularly organises placement drives, career guidance seminars, workshops, and webinars to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to succeed in today's competitive job market.
Objectives
- ✦To provide an opportunity to students to face the interview panel and turn it into appointment letters
- ✦To create awareness among students regarding career options in public and private sector
- ✦To identify talented and qualified students and build the bridge between industry and academia
- ✦To develop quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and interview skills among students
- ✦To provide career guidance about avenues open after graduation — higher education, placements, or entrepreneurship
- ✦To maintain good relations with recruiters and assist employers in achieving their hiring goals
Functions of the Cell
- ✦Organising Campus Placement Drives (online and offline) with reputed companies
- ✦Conducting Career Guidance Programs and Seminars on industry opportunities
- ✦Conducting workshops on interview techniques, resume writing, and aptitude test preparation
- ✦Arranging webinars on employability, career prospects, and internship opportunities
- ✦Coaching students on communication skills, group discussions, and personal interviews
- ✦Coordinating with industry experts from TCS, Bajaj Finance, NoBroker, IndiaMART and others
